Space Rocks

Info-graphic to teach the differences between these common mistakes.

Do your students hear about these various space rocks in the news? I know I hear about them, especially lately with the rock that actually hit Russia last week.

What do your students know about them?
Do any of them express fear of being hit by one?
How do you deal with their fears?
Do you turn it into a teachable moment?

Have you drawn up any Venn diagrams to compare space rocks with the size of the Earth or the Moon or each other?

I'd love to hear your ideas in a blog post on your own blog!
