More Remembrance Day

Good Evening!

I played around with my Poppy ideas, and came up with the following packet of activities I can use this year and in future years while recognizing Remembrance Day in my classroom. I started out just looking to find ways to review the numbers 11-20 with my class, as that is our current unit in math, but I kept on going until there were 16 different pages to choose from, some of which are too hard for my first graders this year, but which I may be able to use in future years.

I'm now hoping to come up with a few centre activities to plan for that last day of school before the holiday, but we'll see if I can come up with something shareable.

Here are a few images from the packet (just click on any image to go to TPT to buy your own):

EDIT- This resource has been merged with the emergent reader and EXPANDED several times since it was FIRST posted in 2013.
