Numbers to 20 unit: Hands on #2

This second hands-on activity my class did last week was very popular with my kiddos, well, some of them. I gave them a sheet from our math book with the numbers to 20 which they then had to cut out. Once they had their numbers cut out I gave them a handful of Lima beans. They needed to count and then find the card that had that number. They then returned their beans and received a new handful. I'm very proud to say I only once accidentally gave a student more than 20. Yay me! We will be repeating this for sure, great practice for counting.
