More science Ambassadors (3)

Moss Balls?

I'll admit I"m not really sure what was the point of this since the only mentions Google leads me to are for aquariums and we hung ours in the woods...

But the kids loved them!

Here is Ambassador Ashley showing half the class how to put them together.

Then we trudged into the bush beside the school to find a suitable branch to hang from.

Here's one lovely student hanging hers on a branch that will barely hold it up., lol.
 
  One well hidden Moss Ball.

These were pretty easy to make by the way!

Take one of those soil disks that have been moistened to expand, and wrap with first Moss you've removed from a tree and then sturdy twine. Easy Peasy!
