I convinced the staff at our school to participate in National Reading Month this March, and so we all decorated our doors to represent a different book. Most teachers had students contribute to their doors.
Here are our finished products!
Grade 5: The Light-Fingered Gang
Grade 6: I Spy
Grade 4: Diary of a Wimpy Kid
Grade 2: Charlotte's Web
Our LNC teacher: Happy Birthday, Moon
Grade 2/3: Buddy
Resource: Mortimer
Grade 2: the Mitten
OTHER grade 1: Caps for sale
And of course you've already seen mine: If you give a mouse a cookie
I hope we've inspired you with ideas for next year!

All the doors came out great! So creative. We've never decorated doors in our building before, maybe I should suggest it!

There were some complaints of how much work it was, but we were only limited by our imaginations!
DeleteLove the doors! We've had door contests for Dr. Suess and drug awareness why not my favorite topic books! What a great way to celebrate National Reading Month.
